We generally organise block level or some times district level residential motivation training camps for youths. In this type of camps, we discuss in detail about local and regional problems and issues. Many times by hearing stores or our struggle and success some new youths come from new areas in our camps. They participate these camps and share with us about their areas issues and problems. Generally they request our organisation to come in their areas to provide guidance and support.
Our organisation after discussing about such cases, take the decision and enter in to the new area. We begin our works with the villagers meeting and conventions. In these sittings, our a few trained workers and experienced volunteers participate and make the villagers aware about the roots of problems and try to help them to get solutions of the same. We are glad to say that in many cases the villagers become able to find the correct causes of the problems not only that but able to reached the right solutions also. For this we use oftenly POULO FRIERE PEOPLE TRAINING SYSTEM. Our roles are always like catalyst and facilitator. Thus our statement is confirmed that, “Certainly people are uneducated but not unintelligent” we select some energetic and committed youths from this new area and trained them to serve their own community and area.
We take for granted that in present democratic system, Govt. and it’s administration is responsible for people’s prosperity and miseries. Hence we have to make it efficient. So first of all we try to make possible availability of Govt. resources, then we make efforts to ensure the transparency in implementation of Govt. programmes. All this processes are completely based on people’s involvement and participation.
It is our idea that people’s own money collected by the Govt. can be made available through the same body for the people’s welfare sake. Other side misusing of huge amount of money which is being invested for the people’s welfare sake by the Govt. also can be checked. Then what is the need of foreign aid for the same purposes? It is just to bear compensation of inefficiency and corruption of elected political leaders and salary paid public servants. Not only this but miss use the donor’s help and make them fool also.
Hence our views are clear that in public sector foreign aid should be taken in those fields only in which the corrupted and exploiting administrating system is intentionally not willing to cooperate and help. For example under mentioned issues can not be helped by the existing system:
(a)To spread healthy awareness among public and to organise them because it will go against established structure.
(b)For struggles against corruption, exploitation and injustice. Because it will go against irrational forces.
(c)For struggles against social evils and communalism. Because of this, the people unity and power is strengthened.
(d)To make foresighted, improved and developed model programmes and projects against Govt.’s unforsighted and unprofitable programmes and projects. Because inspite of taking these endeavours constructive and positive ways, they take it against of them as conspiracy to blame.
(e)For implementations of Govt. projects and programmes. Because of this besides being snatched the giver authority of leaders and bureaucracy their illicit earnings also stopped as corrupted Govt. employees consider their normal salary mere cost of tea and refreshment.
(f)For campaign for free fair elections. Because during this, voters will elect right candidates from political party. Then it can destroy unpious alliance for the sake of power and throne.
(g)For public education and struggle against communalism. If the Govt. gives help for this good cause, then what will happen to those vested interest inhumanic powers who do politics by dividing the people in the name of religion, caste, region and language or what will happen to such people who even don’t have a little ability but rule.
(h)For movements for public welfare issues. If Govt. help for such issues then no doubt a huge numbers of people will benefited, but the exploiting people who are sitting on the key points of power and money and politics, will be exposed and they will have to hand over their power and authority to people.
Hence as per our views foreign aid should be taken for the above mentioned issues only, so that besides ensuring the proper uses of aids of donors the general public will be redeemed from the concerned problems and sorrows for which Govt. helps are never possible. Because there is a proverb, “If a horse makes friendship with grass then what will it eat.”
On the other hand in above strategy prospects this also a truth that, “On begging only alms can be received but not a kingdom, the kingdom is obtained by fight only”. Hence who will be such fools who will provide weapons to their enemy (public) against themselves.
Therefore this noble task (providing resources) only those people (foreign funding agencies or persons) can do, who are true mankind lover and have faith in humanity and in universal family. This is our moral duty to make it’s proper and effective use.
